Bakri Utawala Kenya

History

With an estimated oil demand growth of average 6.2 % p.a. driven by fast developing economies, the East and Central African region presented a ground breaking opportunity for downstream oil business.
Back in 2004, Bakri Kenya was founded as an addition to the already successful affiliates under Bakri Group with the sole vision “To be the leader in oil and gas supply for the region”. Bakri Kenya’s vision is fulfilled, with presence in East Africa through the marketing and sale of petroleum products to Uganda, DRC, Burundi, South Sudan and Rwanda. With Globalization and the need for affordable petroleum products further inland, the company strategizes to capture a wider niche within the region like Tanzania, Malawi and Zambia.
